MUSIC LESSONS

Do you want to improve your chops?

Learn more music theory or how to read notation?

Perhaps that instrument that you've had for years but never play is gathering dust and you want to give it a try?

Or are you looking for ideas to help with improvisation and jamming with your band?

Are you looking for options to add to a curriculum for a Home School learner?

I can help you out!

For well over 20 years I have been teaching music privately and in the class room.

I have a bachelor's degree in Music from Berklee College of Music and a master's degree in Education from Temple University and I am certified in Massachusetts to teach social studies and general music in public schools.

In my teaching career I have taught private instrumental lessons to students from age 5 - 75, music classes from preschool to high school, and coached bands and ensembles.

I teach guitar, bass, upright bass, ukulele, piano, drums, music theory, improvisation, and song writing.

We can set up lessons online or in person.

Please feel free to reach out to me about my availability, fees, and services.

"I've taken lessons with different teachers, but Brian's relaxed but informed approach makes it easy to learn. I especially appreciate how accessible he makes the music theory side of things, which I had avoided in the past. But also, we work on song arrangements and the lessons are fun as well as educational. I'm really happy I found him. Very affordable too!" - Bass student Niki Kaos
